Finding summer camps and selecting the right camp for your children can be challenging and frustrating.

Once you find camps you are interested in, visit their web site and discuss the camps with your friends and family. Word of mouth is the single best way to find a great camp.

Questions you might ask:

1) Qualifications of staff (education, training, etc.)

2) Describe a typical day.

3) How are students taught and disciplined.

4) How long has the camp been in operation
    and do they have letters of reference available.

5) How do they handle special needs and allergies.

6) Camper to staff ratio. Comparing ratios between similar type camps can help identify quality camps.
